This letter is to thank you for your prompt attention in regards to sending my mother and myself the "Voicecare" device. Even though my mother needs to be admitted into a nursing facility, this device has given both her and I a sense of relief, specifically in regards to her receiving help in an emergency situation. I would like to give "your management team" a special thank you for their immediate and genuine aid towards setting up this device and service in my mother's home. My very hearty congratulations to you and the Medical Alert System of your organization for the remarkable and superb service tendered to me in the early morning last June. To explain: I had just awakened and sat up when I was shocked to realize that my room was spinning rapidly around me with no sign of ceasing or lessening. What to do? Press your pendant, of course. An immediate and blessed response of "Sylvia, are you alright? What is the matter?" I immediately described the situation. She responded as immediately, instructing me not to move, wait, help was already dispatched and on its way. In no time I was being lifted carefully; voices assuring me, telling me that I was being carried to the elevator, down, and to a waiting ambulance at the front of my building. Once placed in the ambulance, I was given oxygen and a short ride to Bellevue Hospital. After that I can remember little but that I knew I was in excellent hands and experienced a comforting and total absence of fear! This my friend - for you are now - is what everyone wishes for in a situation of helplessness. Again, let me offer you and your brilliant staff my compliments on your ability to organize and offer such a superlative service. Thank you!
